PRISM does not support Non-Profit Tenant creation
Due to required validation of eligibility and approval by Microsoft, PRISM does not support creation of a tenant with Non-Profit qualifications.
The correct method to create an Non-Profit tenant is to apply through the Microsoft Non-Profit website. Once this approved and created, you can then connect the tenant to rhipe via the Connect tenant process in PRISM.
Creating an new Non-Profit Tenant
Customers must be registered with Microsoft and validated as an eligible organization in order to qualify. Registration includes the creation of a Microsoft 365 tenant, which is granted access to view and purchase from the Non-Profit Product catalog.
Follow these steps to create a New Non-Profit tenant:
- Direct your customer to http://aka.ms/nonprofitgetstarted to create a tenant with Microsoft directly. The application process takes up to 3 weeks.
- Use the Connect Tenant process in PRISM after the Non-Profit Tenant has been created.

Placing your order
Once the the tenant is connected, you will need to validate the Non-Profit status of the tenant with us. Please click the check button under the tenant management. This will check the status of the tenant with Microsoft, and if it is approved for Non-Profit licensing, the qualification will change from 'Commercial' to Non-Profit in around 20-30 seconds.
If the Microsoft qualification won't change to Non-Profit after clicking check, then please raise a case with Partner Support to investigate. Please provide the approval documentation to us in your request so we can cross-check the tenant details.
Once the qualification shows as Non-Profit in PRISM Portal as above, the order form will then have the Non-Profit products added and you will be able to purchase those products as an approved tenant.
